The first-ever Botox course for Turkish dentists in the UK (2009)
The first-ever Botulinum Toxin course for Turkish dentists, delivered in collaboration with BK Training Institute and VESTA Academy at BK Training Institute, Reading, UK.
In August 2009, Knightsbridge Academy, in collaboration with BK Training Institute and VESTA Academy, delivered the first-ever Botulinum Toxin course for Turkish dentists at BK Training Institute, Reading, UK. Led by Dr Bob Khanna, a globally recognised expert in aesthetic medicine, this course introduced Turkish dentists to the use of Botulinum Toxin in dental and facial aesthetics, setting a precedent for future training programmes in this field.
This beginner-level course combined theoretical instruction and hands-on training, covering essential topics such as facial anatomy, patient assessment, injection techniques, and treatment planning. Participants had the opportunity to practise under expert supervision, ensuring they acquired both the confidence and technical skills required to incorporate Botulinum Toxin treatments into their dental practices.
As the first group of Turkish dentists to receive formal training in Botulinum Toxin, this milestone event significantly contributed to the growth of facial aesthetic treatments in Turkey. The successful collaboration between Knightsbridge Academy, BK Training Institute, and VESTA Academy reinforced their commitment to high-quality professional training, enabling Turkish dentists to expand their clinical expertise and meet the rising demand for aesthetic procedures in dentistry.
