Dr. Seda studied dentistry from 2000-2005 at the Dental Faculty of the Cukurova University in Turkey. She worked as research assistant from 2007-2011 and received her Ph.D. degree in Periodontology at the Periodontology Department of the same university in the year 2011.

From the year 2011 till 2013 she worked as a scientific researcher and full time clinical instructor at the Bezmialem Vakif University in Istanbul and as a head of the periodontology department.

In 2014 she worked as an assistant professor in periodontology and head of the periodontology department and director of the dental education clinic at the Biruni University in Istanbul. In 2015 she became an Associated Professor at the Department of  Periodontology at Biruni University.

Since 2011 She is research adviser and clinical trainer and lecturer in the fields of implantology and laser dentistry. She hold a private practice in periodontology and implantology in Istanbul in Turkey and appointed as a part time faculty at University.
