This course is a hands on course for medical professionals, looking to use advanced techniques when administering dermal fillers to treat the signs of facial ageing. The course allows a maximum of 15 delegates, and will take place over two sessions on two separate days. At the end of the course the delegates will be fully certified.


Practitioner requirements:

The practitioner must have at least 1 years experience treating patients regularly with injectables using basic or advances techniques, and must have completed the VESTA foundation course prior to entry.

The practitioner must feel confident in administering injectables with basic techniques in order to adapt to the advanced techniques that are detailed in this course.

The course is ideally for doctors or dentists.

This course can be used as a refresher course for advanced practitioners that would like to up skill or refresh their current techniques.

The practitioner must have a loyal and trusting current patient base, and ideally will have increasing demand from their patients for more advanced treatments.

Ideally, the practitioner will be passionate and looking to use aesthetics as their full time career if they are not already.


Course Objectives

To help you understand the advanced aesthetic consultation and looking at ageing from a global approach with combination treatments.

To help you understand how to devise a detailed treatment plan and patient journey.

To help you understand the importance of referral, combining specialities, and when to refer appropriately.

To help you understand advanced facial anatomy and it’s importance with advanced techniques.

To help you master the more advanced techniques and methods for treatments with dermal fillers including cannula.

To understand different types of dermal filler including Radiesse, and it’s uses in aesthetics.


The Course:

The VESTA advanced aesthetics & cannula course has been specifically designed for doctors and dentists and other suitably qualified and registered medical professionals who wish to focus on the skills and techniques required for both theory and practical in dermal filler procedures at an advanced level. The course is designed to help delegates to up skill or refresh their knowledge in these advanced techniques.

Day 1 - the course starts with a comprehensive advanced theory session, followed by the demonstration of highly skilled, intricate and advanced injection techniques by Dr David Taylor.

Day 2 - the final stage of the course is the practical element, in which the delegates will get the chance to treat their own models, and these models can be provided by VESTA & Knightsbridge Academy.
